injury prevention review

I went to visit Emma 2 months ago for pain I was experiencing in my knee and hip which was preventing me from running.

As a relative novice to running Emma explained to me the importance of stretching, warming up and strengthening the stabiliser muscles and what was causing the pain.

Emma gave me a stretching and strength routine to follow which within a week made a noticeable difference to the pain.

After following Emma's advice for a couple of weeks the initial pain was gone and I've had no pain since.

Emma provided great support after our consultation being happy to answer any questions I had in regard to the routine and injury prevention in general.

Being able to train injury free has been amazing and I have recently completed my first ironman 70.3 distances which I largely credit to being able to train injury free!
